Designed with the intent to create a smooth and essential piece of furniture, the Lobel bookshelf is a perfect frame for personal items. Its square shape and glass tops are designed to enhance and give value to the books and objects it holds. The bookshelf, while having its own personality, is designed to complement and elevate the items it displays.

The Lobel bookshelf stands out due to its unique properties. Its metal structure is treated with a galvanic process to achieve brass, bronze, silver, and gold finishes. The design is completely decomposable for easy storage and shipping. Every connection in the design is made invisible to maintain a smooth and seamless look.

The design process of the Lobel bookshelf involved overcoming several challenges. The most significant challenge was designing a decomposable bookshelf that could be immersed in a galvanic tank, which has dimensional limits, while maintaining a seamless structure with no evident connections. This challenge was overcome after several prototypes, resulting in a design that is seamless and monolithic in appearance.

The Lobel bookshelf was exhibited at the Salone del Mobile in 2016 and 2017. It is available in two dimensionally different versions, allowing for various configurations when placed side by side, catering to the needs and preferences of the end user.

The Lobel bookshelf is not just a design; it is an award-winning masterpiece.
